NDC has launched a Renewable Energy Finance Program to help bring down the costs of going green. As an extension of our work with Low-Income Housing, Historic Rehabilitation and New Markets tax credits, we have added the Renewable Energy Investment Tax Credit to the family of investment tax equity products. Drawing on our experience in structuring difficult investments, we work with solar photovoltaic, solar thermal, fuel cell, geothermal and small wind projects. We see it as a great opportunity to promote the widespread use of renewable energy generating sources.
As the technologies have continued to advance and the costs of the systems have come down, we see the greatest challenge today in financing the projects to expedite deployment. Our goal in providing financing on small and medium-sized projects is to bring renewable energy to the mainstream. Once we can do that, everyone can enjoy the benefits of clean, abundant energy without annual escalating costs and carbon gases. It helps small businesses better budget their operating expenses when they know they are paying the same amount each year for their energy and that the amount is tied to last year’s energy bill.
The ways in which we can assist you in going green and finding the right financing mix for your project are:
